Hi there,

are there already any news regarding the question if the European and UK concerts will be rescheduled and if so, to what new dates?

I think it is hardly possible to do the tour in May and June - just hope the tour will be rescheduled instead of cancelling dates.

Would love to have an update.

Best regards from Germany,
Jan

In the light of current government announcements, both in UK and most of Europe, it would be absolutely impossible to hold events such as concerts.

Hi Jan - I agree with Jerry.  I haven't noticed any artists I follow mentioning anything about rescheduling their upcoming shows.  Seems like the world will need to reboot after this, then get the systems up and running again before they try to plan.  Like the computers of 25 years ago, it'll be a slow reboot.  So much to consider once the 'air clears' - Which venues are able to accommodate; how bad have people been hit in their pocketbooks (and can they splurge on tickets, lodging, etc.).  Hopefully, those will be the among only a handful of concerns - but the longer this goes, the more to (re-)consider.

Best of Luck

-Doug

Hi there! Many concerts here have already been rescheduled to later in the year or even next year. So I just hope Brian's tour will not be cancelled but only postponed and rescheduled to later in the year or next year. That is what I wanted to say.

Events I've had rescheduled so far are Joe Brown at Birmingham Town Hall, now on 3rd September (even that seems optimistic), and Jack Dee at Warwick Arts Centre, November. Still waiting on Wilko Johnson, Jools Holland and Bob Harris+Danny Baker.

The Heartland festival in Denmark, which was the first date of Brian's European tour, has been cancelled, and it was announced in the last couple of days that the German ban on "major events" (which included concerts) has been extended to the end of August, so along with the Glasgow SEC show, that looks like four of the dates are off.

I don't believe any of the tour dates will take place. How could they? Just waiting for new dates now.

I would have attended the concerts in Germany (both) and the London date.

I have to agree, it's looking increasingly unlikely that neither Brian nor The BB will be playing in Europe this summer.

... nor anybody.

If you want to have concerts this year, you'll need to travel to the US or Brazil. They have cool polititians down there who know better. After all, Corona is just hysteria and fake news created by socialist faggots. What do we need social security for ? A few hundred thousands of old and ugly people soon will die anyway, so let's have some fun.

Find the irony.

Looks like the Antwerp show in June 24th is also off, as Belgium have followed Germany in banning all major events until the end of August.

Just had an email telling me that Brian's June 10th show at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester has been rescheduled to June 29th next year.

I really think the management need to get a proper statement out about what's (probably not) happening this summer: the tour section is still listing the Glasgow show, which was postponed weeks ago, and also the German & Belgian shows despite both countries banning all "major events" - which includes concerts - until the end of August. And now this announcement, which must have been done in conjunction with Brian's people: I'll stick my neck out and wager a fair sum that Brian's summer tour of the UK and Europe isn't happening, and if that's so, then there needs to be an official announcement, and not the likes of me posting piecemeal.

I agree, there should at least be a statement saying the tour will be postponed to next year, and that they are currently working on new dates. Let's see.

We all know the tour will not be happening this spring/summer.

Confusion, she reigns !

Along with some other UK fans who also got the "reschedule" email yesterday, I've now had another one today promoting the original date of June 10th this year !!

I think someone jumped the gun.
