This is very beautiful. I wish they would have re-visited this and put it on the Surfer Girl album.

It is so beautiful! I think it was recorded with the Morgan's. This very early stuff intrigues me because their talent is so apparent very early on. It really speaks to Brian being such a great learner ,teacher and leader. So much respect...[love][thumb]

That was so beautiful.  I know Brian credits dissecting the harmonies in the Four Freshmen records (so obvious), but he also used to talk a lot about the choir director at his church teaching him so many things (Methodist, I think - can't remember?).  I wish I knew/remembered the guy's name. In any case, we all know that Brian is great at crediting his influences and those who contribute to "who he is".  Such a wonderful quality.  The man is as generous as he is different in his self-expression - all fabulous for us to enjoy.

Recorded at the Morgans, and written by either Dorinda or her son Bruce. First recorded, but never released, by The Calvanes in 1957/58. Recently released on the Becoming The Beach Boys compilation.
