I actually got this in the cockpit before departure.....I tried 3 times to load the tally with no luck on either my iPad or iPhone......I surmised as I could FaceTime with the person who this week originally was assigned to and being her paternal leader that I could comfortably delegate this final task.
Again, apologies for not adhering to the strictest of requirements but I excercised my pilot in command authority on this one!

Well done, Mr Egg.

And thank you for stepping in in GGH’s stead.

Unfortunately, 12 voters is the equal lowest turnout ever.

Weeks 15 (Cindy Hood) and 17 (Larry Franz) of Season X, Week 14 of Season IX (Deb#1) and Week 27 of Season II (Karate Worm) had the same number.

‘The Longest Time’ becomes the third song to receive unanimous Golds in a week.

This does not always guarantee a song a passage to play-offs.

The others have been:

Caroline, No (Week 11 of Season III - Al Forsyth) - 56 votes from 14 voters; finished 6th in Preliminary Final,
California Girls (Week 1 of Season VIII - Cindy Hood) - 52 votes from 13 voters

It was just the fourth entry for Billy Joel.

His Battle record:

The Downeaster ‘Alexa’ (a Bronze in Week 32 of Season I - Prodigal Son),
It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me (a Silver in Week 34 of Season IV, 9th in Silver Play-Off - Cindy Hood),
River of Dreams (a Silver in Week 28 of Season V, 9th in Silver Play-Off - Rosemary l),
The Longest Time (a Gold in Week 24 of Season X - The Egg)

The 27 points for ‘It’s All Right’ (Huey Lewis and the News) is the lowest ever for a Silver.

The previous lowest was 31 points for ‘'Ouses 'Ouses 'Ouses’ (The Imagined Village / John Copper and Sheila Chandra - 2007) (Week 27 of Season II - Karate Worm) from, again, 12 voters.

The 22.50% of the vote for ‘It’s All Right’ also features on the list of lowest percentages ever for a Silver.

The current list:

20.87 - Someone’s Coming (The Who - 1967) (48 points) (Week 6 of Season V - Deb#1)
21.00 - 4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy) (Bruce Springsteen - 1973) (31.5) (Week 42 of Season VIII - Al Forsyth)
21.87 - The Dummy Song (Louis Armstrong - 1953) (35) (Week 32 of Season VIII - Lisa G/TS)
22.10 - It Could Be We're In Love (The Cryan' Shames - 1967) (40) (Week 6 of Season I - t Bedford)
22.25 - Everybody’s Talkin’ (Nilsson - 1968) (44.5) (Week 35 of Season VI - Deb#1)
22.25 - Dirty Laundry (Don Henley - 1982) (44.5) (Week 8 of Season VII - Cindy Hood)
22.35 - Natalia (Van Morrison - 1978) (38) (Week 33 of Season I - Joy B)
22.35 - Eyes of a Child I (The Moody Blues - 1969) (38) (Week 41 of Season VIII - Tom Tobben)
22.38 - Pony (Kasey Chambers - 2004) (47) (Week 37 of Season VII - Darren J. Ray)
22.50 - Hackensack (Fountains of Wayne - 2003) (40.5) (Week 33 of Season IV - Larry Franz)
22.50 - It’s All Right (live) (Huey Lewis and the News - 2005) (27) (Week 24 of Season X - The Egg)

‘In the Still of the Night’ is the sixth track from 15 Big Ones to be used.

Its record:

Rock and Roll Music (a Bronze in Week 37 of Season III, 8th in Bronze Play-Off - Darren J. Ray),
It’s O.K. (a Bronze in Week 36 of Season I - mother's little helper; a Silver in Week 30 of Season IX - Darren J. Ray),
Had to Phone Ya (a Silver in Week 30 of Season V - snoops71),
That Same Song (a Tin in Week 39 of Season II, 2nd in Tin Play-Off - Al Forsyth),
Back Home (a Tin in Week 28 of Season III - D.A.N.; a Gold in Week 26 of Season V - Tom Tobben),
In the Still of the Night (a Bronze in Week 24 of Season X - The Egg)

The 25 points for ‘In the Still of the Night’ is the equal third lowest ever for a Bronze.

That list:

22 - Dream On (album version) (Aerosmith - 1973) (16.92%) (Week 1 of Season VIII - Cindy Hood)
24 - Wildwood Flower (The Carter Family - 1929) (18.46) (Week 21 of Season X - Al Forsyth)
25 - Tales of Brave Ulysses (Cream - 1967) (20.83) (Week 15 of Season X - Cindy Hood)
25 - In the Still of the Night (The Beach Boys - 1976) (20.83) (Week 24 of Season X - The Egg)
26 - White Sandy Beach of Hawaii (Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - 1993) (18.57) (Week 24 of Season II - Cynthia D. Hood)
26 - Walk Away Renee (Rickie Lee Jones - 1983) (18.57) (Week 11 of Season III - Al Forsyth)
26 - Do That to Me One More Time (Captain & Tennille - 1979) (20.00) (Week 1 of Season X - Cindy Hood)
26 - Breakdown Dead Ahead (live) (Boz Scaggs - 2004) (18.57) (Week 18 of Season X - Cindy Hood)
27 - Here In My Heart (The Wizards - circa 1981) (22.50) (Week 14 of Season IX - Deb#1)
27 - Breakfast in Bed (Dusty Springfield - 1969) (20.77) (Week 26 of Season IX - bonnie bella)
27 - Love and Mercy (Randy Stonehill - 2002) (22.50) (Week 17 of Season X - Larry Franz)

Despite the low turnout, ‘The Longest Time’ looks to have booked a spot in the play-offs.
