Thanks a lot, Cindy, and well done.

They're in that book marked 'Season VIII' on page 2 of this forum.

‘Teach Your Children’ was the sixth entry for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, or a combination thereof, and it's their first Gold.

Their results have been:

Southern Cross (a Silver in Week 32 of Season I - Prodigal Son),

To the Last Whale: Critical Mass/Wind on the Water (a Bronze in Week 10 of Season III, 9th in Bronze Play-Off - Tom Tobben),

Southern Cross (a Silver in Week 6 of Season VI, 6th in Silver Play-Off - bonnie bella),

Almost Cut My Hair (live) (a Silver in Week 30 of Season VI - paul g adsett),

Suite: Judy Blue Eyes (album version) (a Silver in Week 21 of Season VIII - Al Forsyth),

Teach Your Children (a Gold in Week 27 of Season VIII - Cindy Hood)

'Learning to Fly' was the sixth entry for Pink Floyd.

Their results:

Us and Them (a Tin in Week 15 of Season I, 4th in Tin Play-Off - Verden McCutcheon),
Run Like Hell (a Tin in Week 24 of Season I - B B Fan1),
Shine On, You Crazy Diamond (a Bronze in Week 35 of Season II - Prodigal Son),
The Great Gig in the Sky (a Silver in Week 9 of Season VI - Verden McCutcheon),
Time (album version) (a Bronze in Week 10 of Season VII - Deb#1),
Learning to Fly (single edit) (a Silver in Week 27 of Season VIII - Cindy Hood)

‘School Day’ is only the third track from Keepin' the Summer Alive to be used.

Its record:

Keepin' the Summer Alive (a Tin in Week 31 of Season VII, 9th in Tin Play-Off - Cindy Hood),
School Day (Ring! Ring! Goes the Bell) (a Bronze in Week 27 of Season VIII - Cindy Hood),
Goin’ On (a Bronze in Week 21 of Season III, 7th
in Bronze Play-Off - Peter Simpson)

'Adult Education' is the second track from Daryl Hall & John Oates to be used.

'Everytime You Go Away' won a Bronze in Week 4 of Season IV (Peter Simpson).

With the third highest points (58) and second highest percentage (30.53) for a Silver so far, and past the half-way mark of the season, 'Learning to Fly' looks likely to give Pink Floyd their second play-off entry.

If it makes it and wins, both it and the song that beat it this week, 'Teach Your Children', will progress (into the Preliminary Final).

If it makes it but comes second, only 'Teach Your Children' will.
