Cool clip. Thanks, Ang. We are going to get a LOT of things with THE album coming out. The clip is FUN and GREAT! The man is doing it - and not again, but just doing it and moving it forward. Love how he an Al talk (that part on The Right Time - we didn't know what they were laughing about and now we do - 50 years). That image that Daria took underneath Santa Monica is just the beginning of what what is to come in the form of the music. A great image, concept and music! Now I'll always hear the "bom bom" part of "The Right Time"with Brian showing Don Was on the double bass. There is soooooo much going on - on EVERY track. Brian Wilson has always known the studio, pretty well invented how a pop musician uses it and here we are are in 2015 listening to his creations. No Pier Pressure, indeed.

Some of the album is about his wife, some about his feelings about the Beach Boys, his life in his 70's. It's clear this album is highly personal to Brian. He put a lot of work into it. The artistry shows.
This was a great clip, Ang. Thanks.

and just the way Brian interacts with people is so great and seemingly timeless as if he were directing in the studio at any time ever in the last 55 yrs. The best is with Al at the end; it seems Al wants to rehearse or try his part a bit before going in to the studio. "I've been listening to you for 50 yrs; just get in there..." with a get going clap...
- brilliant !

Great video. Also, interesting to hear from Daria's perspective. The Al conversation was also a hoot ... 50 years of listening to Al! I've been away from the Brian Wilson vibe for too long, it feels good to be back home. Looking forward to hearing the NPP in its entirety ...on headphones in a darkened room. Roll on the tour. Good times.

Thanks, Ang, nice relaxed video. I enjoyed hearing Brian, Al, Daria and Don Was talking about NPP. "The Right Time" works well as background music, it's better song than I thought at first.

Every little snippet of this album sounds better and better, can't wait for April 7th! (And Brian looks so relaxed and happy, great to see!)

I enjoyed the interaction between Brian and Al at the end the most.

Thanks as ever to the Google alert for this one! Of course everyone finding it hard to wait for the release can go to Spotify and iTunes. I read a review which criticised Brian for playing in the shallows with NPP rather than being more deep. I think this missed the point entirely. Brian says it somewhere - that it was a healing thing. Taken in that context it works well. It is mainly comfortable to listen to and very listener friendly. I love it.

Ang, The melodies soar, the harmonies are rich and thick and the production standards are superb. Shallows? Kind of funny actually. He says "healing" in every interview about this. Comfortable and listener friendly I'll take any day!

It has a soundtrack feel to it. I don't mean the soundtrack of a film. If you heard a voice whispering low 'ssssoundtrack' at the beginning it would be like hearing the sound of the train receding at the end Of Pet Sounds. A LIFE soundtrack. Al's description is spot on. Hope you love it too Verden.
