We went to the show and it was great so see some of the band members before the show. We were told Brian wasn't feeling well and that they hoped he was going to have a good show. Sorry to say, and I've seen Brian many many times, we were disappointed. I can blame the lack of Bass up in the balcony and the voices were not loud enough up there, but Brian seemed sooo detached. I know he had back surgery in the Spring but maybe they should have given him more time to recoup. I have to say it looked like a money grab. Poor Brian might have bitten off more than he can chew with the tour commitment, this is what went through my mind. I totally get the "we should be happy to be in the same room with him", but this was sad. Godspeed Brian, and I hope it was just a bad night.

Was there in Staten Island for the Christmas show. Wrote my review on the "Live" board of this website. I thought Brian was going out of his way, giving his time and talent. This is spite of physical pain. Again I say, Thanks, Brian, for giving so much of yourself. I don't think you're required to give more than you're able. Merry Christmas to you, your family, your talented players and the roadies.
Rich, I'm not addressing you specifically, but responding in general to some of the posts on here. Some would rather complain out of a frustration about not getting autographs, rather than to appreciate what Brian is doing, specifically for the fans. I'm not trying to start an argument, but rather just want to point out the positive side. If I ever have any substantial criticisms, I defer to the spirit of Brian's website Community. We lived through the days of flamers and trolls, don't want to go there again!

Only four Christmas shows left for people to hear from Brian and the band.
