About a year ago, a juxtaposition of posts on the BW Tour page on FB made it look as though Brian is looking up at his brother. Had to take a screen shot. It was a nice thought yesterday for Dennis's birthday.

I’m sure thoughts of Dennis and Carl are never far away. Especially at this time of year.
Yes, nice thought, Ang.

Oh, Ang - You just can't hide your love for Dennis, can you!?![wink]  It might only be exceeded by your admiration of Brian. [thumb]
Thanks for reminding us of Dennis' birthday - I think he would've liked the idea of Brian's Christmas tour.

[biggrin] He was a lovable guy in spite of himself. Oddly, while I wasn't around him all that much, Denny always felt like a brother to me.

I was remembering one of those days when I seem to have inherited Brian in a state of inebriation after I got off work. We were at a show in Santa Monica with a talented guy performing who Brian kept interrupting and generally messing things up. I remember being so fed up that when I encountered him in the lobby, he was so drunk that little me managed to shove him against the wall with a goofy grin on his face before I left.

I was half-way across the street going to my car (I knew someone would deal with Brian) when I heard Dennis shouting, "Hey Debbie, if I can get Brian to the boat, will you come take care of him?" As ticked off as I was, he knew I'd say yes. I came back to get the directions and showed up of course.

Dennis was having a nice, quiet little party with music and friends in the forward cabin (it was November and cold on the water) and I was with a somewhat regretful, very quiet Brian in the rear cabin. It all worked out and I got to work the next morning on time.

It was never dull.

You're right bugs - definitely got these two guys 'under my skin':  as well as the musical talent and the physical attractiveness there is something less quantifiable but equally important - charisma! Dennis was always vital, a free spirit, and Brian such a complex person and yet with a childlike aspect to his nature.

Thanks Deb and also thanks Debbie - it's always wonderful to hear stories from someone who was there and had personal experience of life around these talented men.

Oh, Debbie - To spend a few days with you listening to recollections of your California days! [smile]
Since that isn't likely to happen, I'll just say I appreciate your time spent here. [thumb]
