Sorry if inappropriate to post this on bw.com but wasn't sure how to do it on fb.
Today, "Brian Wilson" "liked" a comment I made on fb from July 4th and then I got a friend request. As much as it would thrill me if Brian "liked" one of my comments, and wanted me to be his "friend", clearly it's a hack.
Just an FYI.

Could it be that someone else manages Brian's social media and FB and Brian really isn't sitting around reading things? Or is he? ML conspiracy theories will begin to surface.
What's wrong with friending him, back? No harm if it's "official" facebook. __________________ A diamond necklace played the pawn...

a fake Brian Wilson profile was friend requesting people then asking them for help/money back a bit.
eta: and last week I saw somebody claiming somebody pretending to be working on Brian's behalf had tricked them into wiring them money for concert tickets. __________________ T houghts Of You fanzine - for Dennis & helping homeless people.

There used to be someone here [at the old blueboard] who used to pull that kind of poop on our unsuspecting membership. User Name might have been blue bird? Sumthin' like that.
