... Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere - got it from Brian's FB post:'“Brian is working on a new project, and he invited me to be part of it,” Jardine said, “but I don’t know what it is yet.” 'Wilson was laconic on the subject, but he did confirm Jardine’s report. “I haven’t decided exactly when, but I am going to record — (I’m) still standing after all these years,” Wilson said.' Really looking forward to this! May be a tad ironic given Brian's back problems but it shows Brian's spirit in facing up to his problems and also perhaps a wry humour!

Ha! Thanks Ang - I count on you for all my BW news! It was right under my nose... (Santa Rosa) Press Democrat, lead-in to the concert we're seeing tomorrow night. It'll hype up the family even more.https://www.pressdemocrat.com/entertainment/9062647-181/brian-wilson-brings-back-beach

Ang, Could this be what Michael D as posted earlier? There are some new recordings on this and it will be finished in January - the Brent Wilson documentary. This is the "new project" after all. https://www.udiscovermusic.com/news/brian-wilson-documentary-in-works/

Well it could be, Al - but even Al (Jardine) doesn't seem to know!

Al forgets the chords to the songs he has played and sung on for 50-plus years (still asks Brian). It would seem like it should be one project going forward and not several. But make is REALLY good and special, as Love and Mercy was. They are all too busy on the touring now. Enjoy your show - Christmas - upcoming, Doug. And do give us your report. (Have you voted in my "Battle" yet?)

It's funny what it says in that article about re-recording 'honeycomb'. That's been on his mind for years, he certainly loves that one. He has brought it up on occasion in interviews. Wonder what arrangement he has in mind for it....?......

Well hopefully a good one, as the song itself is pretty uninspiring. But then again Brian gave us And Your Dreams Come True out of Baa Baa Black Sheep, so you never know.

I think it's safe to say that Brian hear's music, and how to weave a melody, or a phrase, or whatever into something else, that most of us don't. If he still feels like recording and wants Al there, I'm thinking that's not bad news.

Cut a basic track with three members of Wizzard in October 1974, then added Marilyn's vocal in 1975/6. Tim White described the track in his 1976 Crawdaddy two-parter.

Presumably one of those was with Roy Wood, Andrew? Would that have coincided with RW's involvement with the 15 Big Ones album?

(apologies, I forgot how to add a quote...) "Well hopefully a good one, as the song itself is pretty uninspiring. But then again Brian gave us And Your Dreams Come True out of Baa Baa Black Sheep, so you never know." Little Pad That is insane! I never heard 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' in this before (and I'll never hear it the same again)! Thanks for pointing this out Little Pad.
