It looks like BW is scheduled to perform on the Stephen Colbert show tonight. I haven't seen anything on his social media about it. It comes up on TV listings though.

Yes, I just noticed that on my TV listings channel.

Will await with cautious optimism....alas, my CBS affiliate is in Minneapolis, which has recently been pre-empting most of the schedule with live coverage of the goings on in the streets.

Suppose we'll catch it on YouTube later if that happens in some regions.

Just turned in and was checking the last of the news for the night. I am now getting back up. Thanks for the heads up!

No Brian tonight. He might have been rescheduled due to the protest coverage. Perhaps he'll be on soon.

Oh well...it was worth sticking around for James Corden. The show opened with another one of his heartfelt monologues...and Reggie breaks down around the 7 minute mark with James giving a wonderfully sympathetic reaction (BTW, it's not just the US, but most countries should grow and learn out of this, right?):

That was followed by this discussion interview. The "inability to breathe" comparison around the 3 minute mark blew my mind:

While I am disappointed that I watched and Brian wasn’t on, I would have been even more disappointed if I hadn’t watched and he was.

Thanks Brian. And thanks Deb#1, your post earlier was my first notice. Had not seen Brian in the TV listings.

Appears Brian also recorded Love and Mercy for Colbert. I googled Stephen Colbert and found a Pitchfork link to it.

The beauty of Brian Wilson connected to his piano..and singing his beautiful song. Really touching. He looked so comfortable and so natural. Thankyou Brian.
