Just saw it this morning and it made my day. Lovely to see Brian singing both songs again. Love and Mercy is even more relevant today. Thank you Brian, and thank you to Stephen Colbert for having him.

Glad to see it happen, a night later than I expected.  What a gas to see him on tv and to view the two videos on this page.  BW doesn't get his props among late-night hosts.

Love Colbert and obviously Brian. I was really pleased. Brian is brilliant at healing us in times of pain. Colbert offers the gift of healing through humor. I thought it was wonderful.

Wow !

From his Pet Sounds shows in Frankfurt and Randers some years ago, I took the impression that he might really have to pay tribute to his age, and that he reduces his job to an on-stage conductor in best case. Vocals rather speaking than singing, hardly any noticeable piano playing. Brian as his own memorial.

What I hear from last night, is that the guy easily reaches hights I can only do under a significant dose of beer, if at all, not considering myself the worst vocalist on earth. Is GOK really so easy on piano ? I wish I had his timing and expression, singing and playing piano out of the box.

The age excuse is gone. My expectations have grown a lot. Obviously, he CAN still do it all if he really takes the effort.

Not even mentioning how good he looks.

Come on, you're only kidding me, this video is 10 years old.

Section "wishful thinking": for 2021, I'd clearly prefer a solid SMiLE show to a BB C60. Yes, he can.

Now it's time to watch Julian Korph's upload once again.

Brian and his people keep granting this to the world for free. God bless you.

Listen to his left hand in the playing.  Amazing.

Supposedly, he's got the best left hand in the business.

Yep. I remember David Leaf asking him about that and Brian said, "no, Motown." I'd call it a tie.
