Anyone else going to the NYC performance of Twyla Tharp's "Deuce Coupe" Juilliard dance performance at Lincoln Center next week? A "must see" according to the New Yorker. Tix are cheap ($30). I have wanted to see this for forever and can't believe I found out about it in time. Please get in touch if you plan to be there for the first performance Wednesday March 21.
On a related note: does Brian know this is happening? Has he ever seen this work?

It's been around darned close to forever...like 40-ish years. One would have to think that the royalties cheques haven't snuck past Brian. And NO...It's
too far to travel. Ballet right across the street would be too far to travel. AND...I have the music...ALL of it...right HERE. Good enough. Really. WAY

I got to see "Deuce Coupe" performed by Twyla Tharp and the Joffrey Ballet at Ohio State University in the early 70s. The main thing I remember about it was the song selection. She didn't use the songs I would have picked! The one I especially remember her using was "Cuddle Up".
Here's a positive review from the NY Times from 1973: https://www.nytimes.com/1973/03/03/archives/twyla-tharps-deuce-coupe-is-a-vividly-american-dance-the-cast.html And part of the ballet featuring another Dennis song, "Got To Know the Woman"
