Hi there,

I am new here, probably goes without saying. I apologize if this question has been asked before, but does Brian have a fan-mail address, electronic or snail mail?

I didn't get into the Beach Boys until a few years ago, I knew about them for a lllooonnnggg time, just didn't get into them until recent years when I became friends with a gentleman that was good friends with Brian in school in Hawthorne. My friend has told me some cool stories about Brian (and Carl and Dennis), not sure if Brian would remember them or not, but it would be fun to write him sometime.

Thanks for any possible help on this... maybe Brian doesn't like fan-mail or he doesn't respond, thought I'd ask anyway.

I understand that this isn't quite as easy of a question as I originally thought it might be, but that is certainly understandable. I hope that someday I can at least make an attempt to write Brian for a small number of good reasons. Maybe there's a way I can write him through his management company? I haven't had any luck so far, but if anyone has anything to chime in with... I would certainly appreciate it.

Hey turf, welcome aboard.

I don't think anyone here has a direct address for Brian...but if they do, they are wise enough not to post it in an open forum like this.

I believe Brian is still managed by The Lippin Group.

I don't mean to be discouraging, but getting in touch personaly with Brian is very difficult.  You may be able to get a message to him at a show, or possibly meet him for a moment at a meet and greet, but I wouldn't expect much more.

t bedford, thank you for Lippin address. I certainly don't want Brian's personal address or anything even close, but I figured he'd maybe have a P.O. box or management address for his fans to send him fan-mail (then again, he may hate getting fan-mail so that's the other side). I figured if anyone has ever tried writing Brian before, this would be the place to ask about it.

acedecade, thanks for your response also, I agree with what you mean, I hope someday I'm fortunate enough to see a show if one comes up nearby, that would be phenomenal! I don't think I'd have as much interest in writing Brian if it weren't for my friend who was once friends with him and taught him some of his first chords on piano; it's just kind of an astronomical connection for me and I think it would be fun to write him, even if Brian could care less or didn't respond at all.

Anyway, thank you folks again for your input!

It would be kind of cool if this website had a section for any messages fans wanted to send to Brian.   In case I never meet the man I'd like to be able to send him a message just saying how much his music has meant to me.   I wouldn't even expect a response but it would be cool knowing that he probably read it.   But I don't take Brian as the type who would be too crazy about fan mail.   I believe he knows how talented he is and about his place in music history.   But at times it almost seems like he feels a little overwhelmed by the high standard many people hold him in.  I used to like when he would at least occasionally visit the message board but I don't believe that has happened in nearly two years.   Although he could be avoiding the message board because he figures that most questions would be related to the aftermath of the Beach Boys Reunion and he doesn't really want to discuss it.

No wonder if Brian doesn't visit here, to read either generic praise, trolls trolling or endless jaw about his cousin and why Kokomo is such a big thing and how $ > art.

thorgil:  The last time Brian was on the Blueboard for a chat was December 24, 2011.  I had been a blueboarder and on here every single day, hoping that Brian would drop by for a chat and nothing.  I believe I joined in December of 2009.  I'd comment that I was just dying for Brian to come on the Bloo as others had said that he would show up from time to time and that they'd had the privilege of getting a question in.

So, for the Brian chats on the Blue, we have the last two sightings:

Around November 26, 2009 (right before I joined) and
December 24, 2011 ( I was away for the holiday without my laptop.  When I got home 3 days later, I found lots of e-mails from my friends here:  "CINDY!  BRIAN'S ON THE BLUEBOARD!!!")  AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!

I can't win for friggin' losin'.

Good luck to ya!

I was lucky on that last occasion. Brian responded to a post of mine - I think I saw it on Christmas Day. It was like another present!

Hope Brian returns before too long and anyone who missed out, including Cindy, gets a chance to read his posts.

I remember one occasion when someone asked aloud 'Wonder what Brian would do if....' and Brian answered. Still makes me smile.

I didn't get into the Beach Boys either until last year although I grew up with their music.

Unfortunately, no. I never did get a fan-mail address to write to Brian. If anyone knows of how to write to him, that would be really awesome. I have not tried the address for The Lippin Group that was posted by 't bedford' a few years back, because of uncertainty of whether or not it would be worth my while or not. I guess I could give that one a try.

If anyone wants to mail in money...I'll give you my mailing address?  Would that be good enough?

I like your thinking, Lee!

As far as a fan address, I think this would be the place.  If you have a question for Brian, why don't you post it here?  This is his website and PO boxes where people open the mail - I think - are a bit obsolete.
