I had read about a week ago that Jeff was having throat surgery and than this article appeared on Facebook a few days ago.  Please keep good and healing thoughts for him.

That's so sad.  Jeff was truly a good friend and companion for Brian during his resurgence.  Though I knew he'd had a 'health issue' recently that forced him to stop touring, I didn't know it'd become this serious.

Hang tough, Jeff.

Very bad news for Jeff. I ,et him with Brian some years ago in Sydney prior to their concert in the Opera House. He was a gentleman with a beautiful voice. I will have to buy his latest offering as it sounds beautiful.
Best wishes to Jeff from Australia.

It's always hard to learn of someone's serious health challenges. We can only hope Jeff has the best possible outcome from his treatments.

As to the new album, it is absolutely wonderful. I've listened to it several times all the way through. Luscious layering of his vocals & you can feel some of these tracks right smack in your heart.

Jeff was kind to me when I had a chance encounter with him at a Target in Kettering, Ohio during the brief Brian, Al, and David tour of July 2013.  Of all things, Nicky was with him. I think he wore the shirt he bought that night at the concert. Best to Jeff.

Sorry to learn of this.  I knew Jeff was having some issues with the voice and that there was going to be some kind of 'procedure'.  I had no idea how serious it was.  He was there for some really important milestones with Brian.  REALLY important.  Had the chance to bear witness a few times.  Those are the memories I'll keep front and centre. Sorry to read this.  Hoping Jeff has a good recovery and is still able to do what he loves most.

Geez - hoping for the best possible on this.

A KEY player in the Brian Wilson comeback. What a talent. Good story on how he met Brian originally.

Been busy with travel and things at home, and I'm been trying to keep up with news here. Like others who have posted, I had no idea that Jeff's problems are so serious. I've never spoken with him, but want to relate what was a moving experience for us.

We were fortunate to travel to California for the Hollywood Bowl and Irvine Meadows 50th Anniversary Tour concerts, and were able to see the short lived California Saga perform at the beginning of each show.

Our seats at Irvine were in about the 5th row. During the kids' set, Brian, Al and Mike were together watching from Brian's piano on the side of the stage opposite our seats. Jeff was sitting on our side of the stage in front of us. During one of the songs (would have to look at the setlist to remember which), when Justyn Wilson stepped forward to sing his Dad's part, we could see the tears streaming down Jeff's face. I've always wondered if anyone else noticed it.

Go Jeff. All our best.

I don't know what to say. What's happening these days.

I can't help thinking about Brian's NPP lines "Don't be sad, there was a time and place for what we had".

The only reasonable way to handle things like this. Keep going Jeff !

I'm very sorry to hear about Jeff's condition, but it's good to hear that his faith is helping him through this difficult time.
