The day has finally arrived...well it will have tomorrow. Who else like me has waited far too long to lay their hands on a hard copy of this gem?

I'm super excited for it to arrive in the post tomorrow but I'm a little disappointed at the DVD cover. What happened to the wonderful artwork that donned the posters and soundtrack cd? The wave, the tear, the colours!
The proposed cover just looks badly composed, layed out like so many 'flick' covers so the public might be interested to watch by the cast featured. Us fans know it's much much more than that. It's a let down but never the less I've waited so long for the release date since i first saw the film at the UK premiere in Edinburgh.

What do you guys think? Anyone else receiving the DVD tomorrow?

this is going to sound like the dumbest question of all time, but.  My 'The Stick of Truth' Southpark X-box 360 live game that I purchased from England does not play back home in the states.  It says "wrong location code."  yes, I have tried to 'change' my location code artificially but that does not work.  How can this be?  I have purchased every kind of media imaginable from different countries through the years and since England has Xbox 360 live too, I can't imagine the reason why it won't play Stateside.  Any suggestions?  (before I begin the cumbersome process of returning it overseas?).

someone is going to ask why... okay, Christmas in Texas, with cousins below 12, and I read the England (and Australian) versions had censored a bunch of the anal probing and abortion scenes--that's why...

First saw Love and Mercy on a flight home from West Africa early December. At last released in the UK!!!!
I received my 3 copies of the DVD about 10.30 a.m. yesterday (Sunday). Plus a copy of No Pier Pressure CD.
CD playing as I type this. It is amazing, full of love and light. I cant choose a favourite song. They are all superb.
Happy New Year to you all.

I've just watched it! How I've been dying to see it again since last year! How was it possible for you guys to get it on a Sunday? Was it via courier or something?

There's not many special features on the DVD sadly but I'm hoping they release special editions at some point in the future [smile]

I regret not asking Bill Pohlad at the Q+A about the clear 2001 reference. Anyone know anything about that scene? The one in bed with the dressing gowns?

How did I get it on the Sunday? - Don't know - it was a regular Amazon order (last September). I got the BluRay. I haven't seen the extras or deleted scenes yet.
