Now we see the message from Brian Wilson. My heart hurts for him. I know others here (and me) were flying in from out-of-state for both shows in Nashville (consecutive nights). He is an icon and a genius, and I have nothing but good wishes and hope for him. He has shown so much strength already. Damn. (And an admitted ouch from me on plane fares).

This is a risk you're taking, being a fan of an elder showman. They're only human, and they won't be able to keep their appointments whenever the main person is prevented for any reason. I feel your pain. If the airline doesn't return your flight tickets, you'll at least have a chance of visiting a place which is surely worth visiting. In 2015, 2 days after booking a flight to London, my Brian Wilson / Edwyn Collins concert was cancelled. After unsuccessful negotiations with Easyjet, I accepted to take the trip and make the best of it. I found out that London, surprisingly, has 2 or 3 touristic attractions, and that a Rugby world championship is interesting, too. I'm sure Nashville, too, has 1 or 2 things to offer. Good luck and have fun.

Dear Mr. Wilson, You are my hero, because you always have transformed a tragedy into in a triumph. It is a sign of mental strength to talk openly about mental problems. We all will suffer sooner or later. Best wishes from Germany and God bless you. Georg Antonius
