Went to go pre-order my copy of NPP, and noticed that NPP is ranked #64 in Rock and #114 overall Best Sellers on Amazon.  Not sure how much this ranking means but considering album release is still over 1 month away seems like a pretty exciting start for Mr. Wilson not to mention us fans.

Clips I've heard sound Awesome!  To these ears, head and gut has me very excited to hear and 'feel' the full songs and album.

It seems like everytime Brian has a successfull release and positive reviews it just pumps him up to want to do even more new, unique and interesting music the next time for his current and future fans so if TWGMTR number 3 for BB maybe this is due to be his Number1 Solo can hope anyway.

I'd be happy for Brian if NPP even cracked the top ten.  That would be pretty cool.

I think it was ranked in the 30s at one point last week when it was first made available for presale.

In this day and age, considering that old school music fans tend to be the ones who buy the actual product, I wouldn't be surprised if Brian Wilson has a Top Ten album in the charts in two weeks.

Over the past few years, albums by Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Heart, AC/DC, and of course The Beach Boys have cracked the top ten.  Even without The Beach Boys banner on the record, I think the buzz around the new tracks combined with the buzz for Love and Mercy is going to put this into the Top Ten.

I may be a little optimistic, but I think No Pier Pressure could win up being the crowning achievement of Brian Wilson's solo career.
