I've been following this advice from one of Brian's other social media sites:

Grand, isn't it?
I hope all continue to be well.

Lordy, I hope that he is composing something - while busy - doing nothing (play piano every day at least?).

I fought it with humor the first week and half and now it's music!

Bugsy, from Something Great last fall:

I was at this concert and it was a GREAT show:

Lawdy - we NEED Love and Mercy to come out through this - intact.
ALSO one of the Instagram concerts with First Aid Kit - Emmylou is at 24:00

Dang Al - Sure seems like another world just last fall.  That tour was outstanding  - as was the last part of his Pet Sounds in 2017/8(?) - Stellar variety.  Thanks for that Zombies # too - it was from the show we attended at the Fox, and you can hear their sound quality issues (whereas Brian's band had spot on sound).

Mmmm, hearing that version of 'Busy Doin Nothin' at the Tower brings back great memories of that world we once knew.

OK - Positive Thinking.
I'm running a reverse schedule to you - music the first week or so, humor currently.
But must be positive, vigilant, with good humor.  And music.  And sun.  And exercise.  And...[biggrin]

Doug, YES - exercise is next.  I'm simply trying to avoid COVID now in my phases from humor to music to exercise. Sounds right!

YES, that fall tour seems looooong ago. I LOVED it - one of the better Brian and Band shows that I've even seen/heard and the Zombies were incredible.

Be safe everyone.  A VERY dark time in the US right now but positive things come out.

Wishing everyone well.  Went out yesterday.  First time in 3 weeks.  Post office to pick up a package I needed.  We're good here.  Stay healthy.  Pharmacy delivers.

Busy doing stuff at home... laundry, odd jobs, stuff with the kids, zooming, distancing, washing our hands, cooking, baking bread, walking (trying to keep off the 'COVID 15' from eating all that fresh baked bread), all while listening to some great music... Stay safe and healthy everybody!

Surfergurl and everyone:   Careful with Zoom (I don't use it, but heard about this the other day on the news):

I have been with a group six months on Zoom and it is fine when it's closed but I wonder if people are using the freebie version and are not careful in their settings.  Basically Zoom wasn't ready for this.  Oh well, the developer is only a 3-time Billionaire.
Here's Cornell's version of safe use:
https://it.cornell.edu/zoom/keep-zoom-meetings-private-and-reduce-odds-zoombombing
The article looks to be if the Zoom's were recorded by the host. Then they turn up somewhere else.

Be safe in EVERYTHING that we do.
I start running tomorrow - going into my exercise phase.

Great information to share at a time like this, Al.  Have already forwarded to my wife for her (20-yr) book club meetings that are now occurring via Zoom.  The gals all saw the story Lisa posted, so were concerned about the safety issues this week...this should provide them with ways to reach a comfort level.

Hi all,

This new normal is horrid.  Yet we must persevere.  The more we social distance the faster things will get better.  I don't use Zoom. I have email and the phone.  I pray nightly.  As long as we understand that we are all in this together we will be fine.  If anyone feels anger getting a journal to write your feelings in will help.  Yelling at others only makes things worse.  I am fine.  I hope that the rest of you are well also.

Mary! [wave] Good to hear from you again - even better to know you are well.  Yes, we ARE all in this together - there's no escaping that.  Gives us common ground, the whole world 'round.

The Bay Area was one of the first hit in the U.S., so we were the first to shelter - has made a SIGNIFICANT difference to our curve, flattening it fast.  Yet resuming normal activities at this early date would just lead us back to the starting gate (or worse).  So we'll all need to be very, very patient.  Nope, we won't be 'up and running by Easter' as someone famous predicted - nor will it be May 1, as that same person NOW predicts. [rolleyes]
