Like it...Don't absolutely love it. 1 of 4 songs Carl wrote with Randy Bachman. Mildly better than an OK song from a little bit better than merely OK l.p.

I have always liked Keepin' The Summer Alive. I heard it live a few times by the Boys in 80 and 81 and it always rocked. Great Carl lead. Fun to hear a couple of time on the BB channel the last couple of weeks.

Not sure about this one. The eighties have a lot to be responsible for.

This one is quite a good little rocker. Rock for the good times, like The Beach Boys in D.C. on the 4th of July. I think that is where this video originates:
Nice Carl lead, too. __________________ “How Can You Be in Two Places at Once When You're Not Anywhere at All”

Meh -- Eighties era Beach Boys. A shadow of their former selves. The real nuggets on those later albums are rare.

On paper, this should've been good.
Carl Wilson wanted to get the Beach Boys back to being a rocking band, and Randy Bachman said he wanted to help steer the band into that direction. But, the album version is pretty lifeless. Better in concert, but it's still pretty disposable.
