I am going to see Brian and the band in Baltimore, and my ticket includes going to the soundcheck. However, when the ticket arrived, there was no information about when to arrive for the soundcheck.

Can someone tell me when I should arrive at the Hippodrome theatre for the soundcheck?

Thanks

E

Hi E - Typically, you'll receive an email 3-5 days before the concert with the information you want/need.  If memory serves me right (that can be a BIG if), they'll ask you to be there around 3:00 pm for an 8:00 pm show.  If you haven't received your email by then, call the venue directly - or just head there early.  They'll want you to leave after the soundcheck/meet & greet so the band can eat before the show.  That's a good time for you to find a place close by for refreshments.

Have a blast.

-Doug

Doug is correct.  You do receive the email so you have to be aware that it's coming to you with the information usually a week before.  The company who runs the Soundcheck and Meet and Greet sends it to you.  It usually is around 3 or 4 for an 8 o'clock show.

I've been to three or four and highly recommend them.  You can film/video/photograph and see how they get it all ready to go.  It's amazing to watch them working it out.

We are seeing a 2:30 show (afternoon) - so wondering what time they will do the SC at Tanglewood.

I’m assuming if no sound check avail is listed with the show, they’re not doing one? Or does that purchase availability ever happen later?
I have tickets for Nashville, and would have loved to buy sound check, but did not see a way to do so.

I'm guessing you're correct.  Perhaps the (accompanying) symphony shows require extra time to go over the arrangements and perform their own soundcheck.  I can't recall a soundcheck/meet & greet being 'added' later as an option.  I don't know any of this as a fact though.

Hi Florida....FYI, there were VIP packages available for the Nashville shows. They were listed on the Nashville Symphony website. I was able to get a soundcheck package a few months ago for the first night although we had already bought tickets. I called the box office and got an upgrade. They explained that the Schermerhorn/Nashville Symphony were handling the VIP packages directly.

I checked the Brian Wilson show listing on the Symphony website a little while ago and, unfortunately, it states that VIP packages are no longer available. May I suggest that you call the box office. Perhaps they can help you, maybe put you on a waiting list in the event a package holder notifies them that they cannot attend? I found the box office reps to be consistently courteous and efficient since my first call over two years ago to get tickets for the original 2018 dates.

In any event, hope to see you there. We have tickets for both nights.

Thank you Paul. I’ll give it a try. I’m going both nights too.
Good for you for getting that early!

I did try. They were very nice, but no go. Not even wait list, not for either night (I’ll be at both too).
Thanks again for your response; that was very kind so I will not be TOO jealous of your getting in on the soundcheck😉
The venue is fabulous, and I was also grateful to not have to deal with that big ticketing site (you know).
It’ll be a great trip.
Still learning my way around this board, apologies for any duplication etc.
