Why is there nothing on Brian's site for these shows?

Presales are starting in a few hours at some of the venues!!!

Can you please post the tour dates and the presales codes for us ASAP?

Thank you!

Pretty happy Brian is touring again---and not with Pet Sounds (as much as I love it, the 50th anniversary is long past). Doing Friends and the Surf's Up album--with "rarities" (fingers crossed) is a nice change, and pairing BW with the Zombies will make it fun too.
However--I'm not sure I agree with pairing Friends with Surfs Up for a couple of reasons. One--from a purely chronological view why not Wild Honey which-since it is from '67 is only 6 months or so before Friends. Plus it is basically a real and full BW album.. Surfs Up is from 1971 and has what--3 BW songs on it (and one is from Smile)?? Even Sunflower would have made more sense--it is from 1970 (still closer) and has more BW participation than Surfs Up does! I find it hard to believe the quote that "Surfs Up is one of Brian's favorites". More than Wild Honey?? Anyway--open for discussion  :-)

Darian's quote in Rolling Stone -

"...To be able to perform with both entities on the same bill is a dream within a dream within a ‘hung up’ dream come true.”

To be able to witness this is a dream for us Darian. [thumb]  And I think it's somehow linked to all the stars above. [wink]

Woke from a long winter hibernation to heavy spring rains, began Nashville countdown, and now this! Got tickets for Las Vegas and New York. We felt like slackers after getting to only one show last year (due to Nashville postponement), and that a local one here in KC.

My interest in The Zombies was reawakened by Darian's involvement with them, and I got an excellent live CD from an Odessey and Oracle concert several years ago in which he participated. A friend who went to an Odessey and Oracle show in NY maybe 2 or 3 years ago told me that whomever was doing the band intro said Darian would stop them from time to time during rehearsals to say something was played incorrectly. They would listen to the record and find that Darian was correct.
