Rosemary hosted a while ago, and gave The Beach Boys "I Can Hear Music" her gold that week.

This is for you Rosemary.

Thank you Tom, you're reminding me of what's going on here. This is not one of those sports forums, daring to call themselves „social networks“, but providing more and more rudeness, disrespect, hate, or even hounding, posted by people who need to make themselves important. There were some years when I really felt like giving my contributions to internet forums of all kinds because I could count on respect, patience, brains, and tolerance. I must say my participation in any forum is fading, this included.

But here I see that this is not doing justice to this one (and here I mean the whole thing, not only BOTB). I will try to be on board more frequently again than I was during the last 2 years. It might be worth.

I can't remember ever having exchanged a direct word with Rosemary. Now it's too late. I feel with you Darren, and with everybody whose contact to her was more intense than mine.

Should I pass away, I would be pleased to be farewelled by this board, too. But I'm writing real rubbish now, there's no particular danger.

kds, Verden, Lee, bonnie, DAN, Cindy, Lisa, Al, Paul, Gracie, David, Tom and Cantina, all your words and thoughts are so appreciated.

I have sent a link to this tribute and your responses to Rosemary’s son and daughter.

It still feels surreal.

Rosemary went into ICU during Silver Play-Off week and organising the play-offs was a welcome distraction.

I knew her selection of ‘I Can Hear Music’ had made the Gold Play-Off but chose not to break the news of her passing until afterwards because I didn’t want to risk the week turning into a sympathy fest, which would’ve been fair on no-one. And neither would’ve Rosemary.

She would’ve been very happy with 5th place.

Rosemary was such a positive person and she would’ve hated to see me glum.

I have chosen to put everything I can into all I do as a way of perpetuating her memory. Anything less would be letting her down.

“Onward and upward, Mr Ray,” she would say.

Thanks, everyone.

I want to add my sympathies to Darren, and my sadness at losing Rosemary.  Sometimes we take life for granted.  "Don't Talk, Rosemary, Put Your Head On My Shoulder".  That was her vote in my last battle.

I'm sorry to hear about Rosemary. She was a class act lady and will be missed.

My condolences to her family and to Darren for the loss of his friend.

Thanks a lot, Popeye.

That's nice to see.

It gladdens me to see Rosemary well thought of and remembered because she was a wonderful and loyal friend, and a weekly contributor here.

Each week I miss her votes.

Her son and daughter seem to be doing ok although, no doubt, they struggle at times. They must have inherited her positive attitude.

I think of her every day.

Stunningly written, Darren. You've truly put Rosemary's beautiful nature on show.
It was so apparent how wonderful she was even from that one time and quite brief meeting - and that phone conversation! (I still giggle about it).

You were both so very lucky to have each other, she obviously cared as deeply for you as you did for her and you will always have those memories with her to cherish.

I can't send enough love...
Rest In Peace, Rosemary
xx
