1. Jan and Dean sang a song about a Beatle wife. Which wife was it?

2. When David Lee Roth covered "California Girls", one of the instruments he used was EXACTLY the same one that Brian Wilson used on his version of "California Girls". What was it?

No prizes - just recognition.

Linda. Written by Jack Lawrence in the 40’s as a gesture to his friend, Linda Eastman’s father.

One of two songs inspired by Linda McCartney...the other being My Love by Paul & Wings.

3 counting the snippet The Lovely Linda on Mac’s first album (1971).

yes, but if you really are 'third', Briansong, can you answer the 'California Girls' question too?

Nope. Guessing the “instrument” used was Carl Wilson.

Excellent, fellow BB freaks! Most impressive.

Here's one more:

Which Beach Boy song contains the line:

"She's got the biggest asp in town!"

And who - allegedly - "sang" it?

My turn.

What BB song has the spoken line..”Don’t give me your..God..... vibrations.” ? Sounds like that to MY ears anyway.

And yes said. “God”... not “good”

sounds like from 'Smiley', right?   and then there's something arising from the hashish smoke, about "the competition"  then "ha ha" and then 'alright.'

Yes. More precisely, the spoken interlude about halfway thru Wonderful. Lots of garble and overlap. Sounds like Brian talking in falsetto...”come across as some cool guy”. comes to mind.

yeah, I heard "oh my God".  but for the life of me, I couldn't hear the middle part.  some theories, through the years, "her old man's a grump, she says. Let's cook up somebody else, Damn!"   (yes, I pictured that cartoon cannibal pot over the fire thing).

thanks, Jersey Shore!  thanks for explaining, uh, the situation.

did I tell you, there use to be this guy named Lee on here?  he was big and muscled, drove a motorcycle, kind of guy.  LOVED '15 Big Ones'.  This other guy named KDS.  loved it almost as much, I tell you what.
