This is just such heartbreaking and truly shocking news. All I can really say right now is...wow! Sending love and mercy to him and his family and we will miss him dearly!

Best of luck to the band tonight as they continue to play the shows this week in his honor. Probyn has some big shoes to fill

This is sooooo difficult to hear and comprehend.

Love and mercy indeed to all friends and family of this man.  One of the bed-rocks of the Brian Wilson sounds.  And the show does go on...it has to!

Sad to hear. Condolences to Nick's family and all who know him. Our personal interaction with Nick was sharing an elevator at the Venetian in Las Vegas in December 2014 between the rehearsal and the Soundstage show. Just exchanged a few words and wished him and the band a great show....which it was. Loved to watch him perform.

Very Sad to hear this!
How sudden.
A charming man with a great big heart for his music.
A big loss to the Brian Wilson/Wondermints band.

Terrible loss.
Always a great guitar sound, and specifically his Pet Sounds.
RIP Nicky

Can there be a white strat left on a stool in the back for this tour?  But don't put the hat on it.  I'm still shaken by this news.
I do believe that no Wondermints, no successful return of Brian Wilson for the past two decades.  They are the cornerstone.

I feel it. My husband is a guitar player, 59 years old! We love Brian! God, we love the Wondermints. So sad.

He's not truly replaceable.
Way too young.
